Alterra Coffee has the best chai ever. fairtrade and organic label. On top of that it tasted delicious and spicy! Thank goodness there is no alterra in florida otherwise I would be addicted! I almost didn't even get it because I am already so sold on there mango ginger yogurt smoothie!

Songs can bring back so many good memories. I found this album/compilation called A Good Crop- free download didn't work so they quickly emailed it to me, great customer service. The second volume has a song by Kotki Dwa called the Le Beau Charcutier. When me and Sophie went to the Tate modern this song was playing next to a unique painting of a pig/human with combs in his hair. That was such a great day. The Tate modern is by far, i think, the best museum I have been to or the most memorable at the least.

Went to visit ava last weekend. Oh I love family and brothers in laws and i guess maybe I could call them sisters in laws, too. Ice skating in 10 degree weather was quite memorable. Puffy coats are the way to go! Who cares if you look fat as long as you can move around without hyperventilating I am happy. Chicago was fantastic- Shedd aquarium was interesting. How can one not love a grumpy sea lion who turns his nose up at you! So cute!

Yeah so online classes maybe easy and open book and what not...but it is still hard to actually do the class and not just search the web!!!!

weddings galore

summer!!! lasts forever in florida

This summer has been awesome!! Pioneer school, the convention, and no school!!!!!!!! I joined the Hindi group in September. I am so glad I did. I love it. It feels like your in India whenever you go out in service. Indians are so respectful and eager to learn! Me and Nina started a Bible study with this Nepal family. They are so adorable. It is so exciting helping people learn about Jehovah for the first time and the promises in the Bible and they ask you is this really going to happen? :) at the end of the study they give us coffee and say with a big happy smile "you need plenty of energy because you are the witnesses of Jehovah!" It was so cute. Today we have our monthly public talk and watchtower!

breathe breathe duck

Me and Kathy went to the pool today so she could learn to swim. She totally did a few times. After a series of exercises and drills I dragged her out to where she thought she couldn't stand up and then made her go to the side, I seriously only had like a pinky finger touching her she made it. We did that a couple times. She still seemed pretty scared, but I think if she ever felt like she was drowning she would totally survive with the float on back tactic. Then we accidently fell asleep half in the sun... sun burns hurts so bad.

I got to be a wedding photographer assistant it was fun, hard work. Much harder than I thought. Next time I will remember to bring lots of snacks! It will be interesting to see how all the pictures look. It was a very traditional wedding, so I imagine the pictures will look very traditional too. At least thats how I felt about mine.

not another home video

oh how I got pulled into watching family videos till one in the morning. The sleep phenomonon will never fail to impress me. How is it that on the night one gets 3 hours of sleep they feel better than on the night one gets 8 hours! I didn't even nap!!!! I would really like to understand that. Oh so I've been watching a lot past time videos. I really enjoy them. However, I enjoyed myself much more as an infant who couldn't talk compared to Alaska video....Oh my put a cork in that child's mouth!!!!! And the whole time I am thinking to myself how interesting it is that no one in the family has changed that much, etc. Then it struck me. I really hope I am not like that...... To redeem myself from that repulsive whiney complaining phase, I started making a new home video to update the collection.

Scrapbooking is so much fun. You got to just dive in. I never wanted to start because I wanted everything to be glued down perfect and what not... forget that. I started chopping up those pictures and writing the captions!

I had the coolest dream that I was in a video game with vi and ben. It awesome. Those games are so much scarier and intense when your the actual player!!!!!

So I'm not much of a pork eater till it was very well disguised as turkey all shredded up. After I filled my plate with because i was so hungry and I even sampled it half way between put it on my plate and it tasted so good. Then BAM I found it was pork. I couldn't not eat I had just served myself a pig amount of it...oh gosh pun not intended. I ate the pork. All the pork. I feel ok, but it is almost like its a matter of my own conscience is mad at me so it is making me feel sick. GR

I genuinely enjoy blogging. Whenever I really want to tell someone about some lame dream I had for the 10th time. I can just bore my blog with it as much as I so choose to. But I do really want to talk about it, which works because there is a chance someone will stumble upon this blog. What a great invention!

these plays are fantastic!

ahahahahahhahaha I just watched this old play from when I was at the double R. WOW Its hilarious. I also watched the ones from hagerty and I really think the pirate play was better! Its so funny! even the part where everyone forgets their lines and they just stand there waving pom branches for like 16 seconds!....... I'm really excited about this lion king dance me and some kids from my hall are doing. We had our first practice and its pretty silly, but so fun! well actually i'm trying to keep it very serious like an african tribal dance. I love theatre!

I tried to catch the assembly yesterday but.....it ended up being circuit assembly which i have already been too. So i'll have to catch another one. kind of a bummer. But it was so weird not knowing annnyone and sitting by myself. I started singing this one song. kinda loudly and then like half way through I realized I was singing the wrong song.. It was pretty embarrassing. So being that I had already heard all these parts I left at lunch and went to old navy and they had all these dollar shirts! It was awesome!

I made ava's wedding invitations! It was so much fun! It got to be rather tedious, but I just wanted to finish so bad that, well I finished them!! I am so excited for avas wedding! It's going to be so much fun! The whole family in Wisconsin, that alone will be crazy! hahahhahah I CANT WAIT! I am going to visit her next month and me and Kaitlin get to pick out dresses, because we get to be the two solo bridesmaids!

May has been an awesome service month! I feel like I've been out like everyday! Its great, no distractions! And boy someday I am bound to find Gini at home!!!!!! I sure will! I got a jade plant. It is so cute and it hardly has to be watered.

We had our first meeting in the new hall tonight! I think everyone was a little discombobulated by being a new building. It was so different and new, yet I feel like I had been there so many times!
