A Lovely Week Without School

I've had a lovely week of field service. I am auxiliary pioneering this month! I met a seminary student on Tuesday and got to converse about the trinity with a him for a while. I'll give him credit for owning a Greek Bible, but please don't pretend to know how to read it. I love the new Bible teach book. The appendix in the back was very helpful.

Life without school is just so relaxed. It is very unimaginable to me the amount of time school takes up. I was told that because lots of kids did poorly on the FCATS they are going to only give them public schoolers 3 weeks of summer. Yikes!

I had another soccer game tonight. It was unexpected. My Coach was a rather uninformed, thus the Players where also. Along with a bunch of other non on my team kids played 2 games in one night. I missed half of the first one. Oops, I should have checked the messages more often. Then the second game we played was against these very mean. big, 5'7 girls. They were brutal. I feel as if I have permanent soccer ball markings on my thighs. Hopefully they will fade, otherwise I will be proud of my victory marks. Heheh.

The new cello is still a hassle. I was trying to tune it and one of the fine tuners broke off. Sigh. Then the little wood decoration broke off. I tried to tune it with the big non fine tuners and they sure don't work. I try to move them a bit and they tend to slide out of their places. I twirl them a little and they just twirl right back. I called the music school and they were so thoughtful as to say they would gladly exchanged the "deformed" cello. Thaaaank you.
