Cold Weather Finally!

Welll... I did my round-off backhandspring backtuck today. It was ver gratifying. I haven't been able to do that in over a year! I love cold weather! The other day Julia's mom was really late for picking us up from escuela! It was really cold outside while we were waiting. So we got to go to starbucks and I ordered a hot chocolate in the meadium size and we order lots of stuff for the rest of her family. Anyways they were out of the medium cups so we got 2 small cups for all the drinks that we bought!!! And then it got kind of confusing and i accidently took a drink off of a cup that wasn't ours. And so we got that one for free! We both walked out of there with tons of drinks and drink holders and in are arms. It was great!!!! superb!

Downside of Sleeping In

Sophie is playing her violin, "screch, screech."

I really hate sleeping in. It is such a waste of time. I'm kind of envious of those people that wake up (naturally) at 7am. I got sucked into making up loss time on internet, by fiddling with google page creator. It took me a long time to do absolutly nothing. I prefer blogs. So anyways I slept in today. It was a big waste of time... :( I did a major clean sweep of the upstairs, which is still in progress. Man this mouse on Avril's computer is so annoying it spazzes out like every 20 seconds. Whenever I press the space key it whoshes to one side of the screen and then back again. I'm going to go get ready to go to tennis.

Things from this week_and the a few other days~

We got a new dog it is the most annoying animal in the world. But my mom likes it. Really my dog burmie which got taken away was way more entertaining. It actually moved around and jumped. This one does nothing but lick and eat.

lalalal Two more days of school and I am DONE!!! That is with middle school. Yipee!! I went on my end of the year field trip with my school. It was fun we went to Tennessee and Georgia. The people in Tennessee have pretty strong southern accents. By the end of the week I picked up a little bit of a "yall", but it left quickly by the time I got home. Thank goodness! My favorite part was when we went to these historical waterfalls. They were so beautiful. I got to climb up them and in this one part the water was really deep, well about 6 feet in comparison with the rest which was about 3 feet. It was cool because you could go swimming in that part and jump off the falls into it which was very fun. I guess I will miss a few things about that school. Like snack time for instance. How many schools that aren't preschools have a snack time(aka nap)? None. But I'm also glad to be almost done(two more days left)...

Plans for summer.... Auxiliary Pioneer, find some kind of job, and start American school homeschooling....

Jolly Roger and the pirate queen play was quite a success. Thanks for coming to see it everyone who did see it . It is way more fun to perform with an audience of people that you know. Plus you guys make an awesome audience. You can always here particular people laughs, which makes it pretty entertaining while sitting back stage for your scene to come.

Oh I went to the pet store with the Lulohs a few weeks ago after service. I saw the cutest ferret. At first I was like ew the smell bad. But then the pet store lady was like oh but you can get them desentenized. Descentenized!!! Then I asked if they knew about any blind ferrets, and of course she had to say of course we don't have those.... I would love to have a blind ferret like from along came polly!

I learned played a song on my cello with my teacher on saturday. It was so much fun to play a duet with a good cello. It's going to be so much fun once me and violette can play duets. My new favroite subject in school would have to be math. It is so refreshing that it just never changes and the rules always stay the same. Math seems like such an ease compared to English, whereas their are so many different rules and they are always changing. Just two more weeks of academic school stuff left. I got American homeschooling books yesterday in the mail. I am going to try to get a credit and then either stay homeschooled or ugh go to school school.....I haven't yet decided.

Jolly Rodger and the Pirate Queen is coming up this friday and saturday day. I am quite excited, acting is quite exhilarating.

I joined the gym along with a the rest of my fam. Treadmills are a lot less intriguing then running down the ..lovely streets of chuluota.

I'm of to ahem worktime.

A Lovely Week Without School

I've had a lovely week of field service. I am auxiliary pioneering this month! I met a seminary student on Tuesday and got to converse about the trinity with a him for a while. I'll give him credit for owning a Greek Bible, but please don't pretend to know how to read it. I love the new Bible teach book. The appendix in the back was very helpful.

Life without school is just so relaxed. It is very unimaginable to me the amount of time school takes up. I was told that because lots of kids did poorly on the FCATS they are going to only give them public schoolers 3 weeks of summer. Yikes!

I had another soccer game tonight. It was unexpected. My Coach was a rather uninformed, thus the Players where also. Along with a bunch of other non on my team kids played 2 games in one night. I missed half of the first one. Oops, I should have checked the messages more often. Then the second game we played was against these very mean. big, 5'7 girls. They were brutal. I feel as if I have permanent soccer ball markings on my thighs. Hopefully they will fade, otherwise I will be proud of my victory marks. Heheh.

The new cello is still a hassle. I was trying to tune it and one of the fine tuners broke off. Sigh. Then the little wood decoration broke off. I tried to tune it with the big non fine tuners and they sure don't work. I try to move them a bit and they tend to slide out of their places. I twirl them a little and they just twirl right back. I called the music school and they were so thoughtful as to say they would gladly exchanged the "deformed" cello. Thaaaank you.

Some Soccer, Some Service, & A Few Pieces of Pizza :)

I had a soccer game on friday night it was great. We won. 3 to 1. I had a half day of school yesterday. I got to leave before lunch and then when I got home I forgot to eat. I wasn't neccesarily hungry untill my mom came home and made dinner. I was then really hungry so I wolfed down a lot of food. Bad idea to wolf down 4 peices of pizza on the way to the soccer game, but it was all good. I am auxilary pioneering this month. I went out and service this morning and afternoon. I worked with Debbie Ramos in the morning and we met this man who was very well educated in the bible, except had some wrong ideas, but was on the right tract. He knows a bunch of differnt languages. He spent like half of his life studing word for word verses of the bible. I was amazed at the very smallest details he knew so much about. Yet, he still believes he's going to hevean and what not.

I denailed wood for my dad yesterday. The most boring physical laborious work ever. I was quite surprised at the many "tricks" for getting te job done. Oh yes and how in fact certain methods may be portrayed as "beautiful". As I gently smashed the opposite side of the hammer into the nail and smoothly pushed it to the left forming a "path"for the nail to come out. it was quite "beautiful".

I wrote a poem that I really like, but I left it at my school. The new cello is driving me insane. It is so hard to tune. I try to tune it with the tuners on the top and i move them a little bit and then they just move back. The fine tuners on the bottom are little stiff nails. I have blisters all over my thumb from trying to move these things. It's very frustrating.

I was supposed to be grounded yesterday night. Heh me grounded, first time. Something about falling asleep and forgeting to do dishes on tuesday. My moms really breaking down and trying to dicipline. :(. Well i sure got out of that "grounding". The soccer girl called and said my coach messd up and that we really did have a game tonight. Yes! And to think it would have been first state of groundedness. haha Not anymore.

    Mmm New Food Discovery!

A cheesy sensation.....I had my first cheeseburger today. It was so GOOD!! It wasn't a nasty Mcdonalds (even though I haven't tried those BUT it doesn't look to appealing) It was a seroin something rather. It was quite tasty. I am officially one of those meat eaters. It all started 6 months ago when I had pepperoni on pizza. Sheesh that sure is good. And now I have broken down and had a big cheeseburger. Pepperoni is seriously addictive!

    Don Don Don. Today I...

Today I had a tennis lesson with Julia. I was so sure that it started at 5:30. Julia texts me at 5ish and she is like are you going to tennis. I say of course. 5:15 her mom calls me sooo are you coming. Oh yea i respond I'll be there in soon. (I said in a very releaxed voice) Then I find out that it started at 5. Oops. I forgot. I was so sure it was going to be at five thirty. To think I had just made myself a cup of tea. Well it was a good lesson. We learned how to serve. And in general to hit the ball in the right direction, ect. I must attend to school work now.

    :(boring.

Hold your horses guys. Hah, I could't bare to finish this post without givin a ramble or two about my kitties. Well today after bookstudy I had a little reuninon with "flufy 2". I sure hope he/she doesn't have rabies. But that cat sure is cute! You exit the bookstudy hosue and it just curls up around your feet.

    no school today

I was sick today with a sore throat so I missed school. We finally got DSL it is so amazingly fast. Me and Nina had this great idea to catch Katie and call animal control. They came and Katie got really scaried and she escaped from her trap. The animal control lady left us with a cat trap. We set it up and put a bowl of tuna inside. One hour later, we had caught a huge black cat that had a tiny head. We then called animal control and they came and picked him up. 1 gone 9 more to go. HEHEH. I feel like a sniper, killing off cats. Except a very legal one. And I am sure the cats will have good homes. I think.

    My por cat Dandy

I came home today and there was a mesage on our answering machine from the pound. They said they had my cat Dandy. I called them back and I asked them why on earth would they steal my cat. She said in a reallly mean voice, that some one not on your property had caught him in a cage and called the pound. Then I was like wellllll he had a collar! So are you going to return my cat? She was like well let me transfer you.... Grrr. Then the other person was like how may I help you. And I said "You guys stole my favorite cat will you please return it?" And of course they said no. They are the type that borrow things without returning. So then they said that I ahd to come pick it up wthin five days or else they would put it up for adoption(or kill it)!. Then I was like well I don't have a car!
So basically I have to go pick it up with its papers in hand which don't exist.

    Coffee Berries = Friskey Goat

    When was coffee first discovered?

    c 850
First known discovery of coffee berries. Legend of goat herder Kaldi of Ethiopia who notices goats are friskier after eating red berries of a local shrub. Experiments with the berries himself and begins to feel happier. =)

Oh, the things I learned today. Priceless.

    Fluffy 2

I saw the cutest white and black fluffy cat today. It was after bookstudy. I was walking to the car and Andy pointed it out. It was so cute. I was warned that it was a stray cat and could/probably would give me rabies. But it was sooo cute. I picked it up and it was really friskey. Then my mom yelled at me to put the thing down before I get a disease. I really want to try to give a kitten a ton of caffeine and see if it will stop growing and remain a small cat. That would be the best invention EVER. It would be like everlasting Kittens.

    =( Drama Tryouts, Updated

I got a very bad part in the pirate play. I wanted to be a pirate, but no, I am one of the main character's mother and I am married to a rather large 6th grader. Not Good. I am very disappointed and I wouldn't mind quiting, but I'll stick it out. I only have 60 lines, yes ONLY 60 pitiful little lines, and I don't come on until more than half way throught the 1st scene. I really wanted a part were I could use my pirate accent. Hmm. I think I will just have this character that I got a really weird southern accent since she is from America. I really don;t like this part. When I was practicing for my auditions I didn't even consider trying to give this person a neat voice. She was so boring I simply passed over her. The part I in particular wanted went to this, another rather LARGE, actually vary large 6th grader. The drama teacher gave her 3 kids the best part. Like her son got the main guy who has 163 lines. Her daughter got this one cool poetic pirate, Dandy. Her youngest son got this one part parrot who gets to mimick everyone.

    Drama Auditons

Yesterday I had drama auditions. It went really well. I had read the play book at least 3 times and I had practiced accents weeks ahead of time. When I got to the auditons (after school, in the gym.) I rolled up my sweat pants and aw what do you I was wearing grey stripish knee socks(to give myself a little bit of a pirate look). I originally wanted to be Sarah Huffington. She is a rich girl, who wants to marry a pirate and she is bored with her life, so she goes and searches for this pirate Bluebeard(who is actually a retired not so cool guy.) Now she is the best girl a part in the play(she has the mst lines)and the play itself is kind of naemd after her(Jolly Rodger and "the pirate queen") SHe is the pirate queen. I changed my mind about being her. First of all I don't have the same appreciation for her lines as other kids do. Second, I really like this one part of Long John Sliver. He is the real pirate, who has a reall thick accent, and gets to tutor this other guy to be a pirate so he can make Sarah fall in love wit him.

My favorite part would have to be this guy Dandy(yes he is named afer my cat, who is named after...)He is a poetic pirate, who says a few monologes that rhym, but they are very funny. He only has 50 lines though, which I don't really think is worth it cuz we have to have practices for about 4 months. But I wouldn't be disappointed if I got that part.

We find out who got what part on monday. Gives me time to build up lots of anticipation.

MMMmm I love coming home to Java coffee ice cream in the freezer. Yummy!

    New suspect

Mr. Janitor guy didn't do the crime. So that leaves the Evil Science teacher. I suspected her from the start.

    My OUST has been stolen.

Today I got to school and it smelt as usual. Awful! I went to the bathroom to spray my bottle of OUST everywhere. And Oh no!! My bottle of oust which I paid for with my own money which cost 4$ dollars was gone!. I asked the teacher if she knew where my oust was and she said"no." And then referred me to the other teacher. Well during the afternoon I told the other teacher whom I was referred to "I put a bottle of OUST in the girls bathroom because it smelt really bad. But now my bottle oust is gone. DO you know where it is?" She said "no. Maybe the janitor did something with it." OK well I walk around the class room looking for my oust. And I can't find it anywhere. I have no more work so I try to read a book, but I cannot possibly bring myself to read this book when I am thinking where on earth could my bottle of OUST be? A little later I ask my teacher if I could ask the janitor if he might know where my oust was. Well basically she told I had no business bringing oust to school and to defenently not bother the janitor. Psh. I SO did. If anyone has to sit in that smelly classroom all day they deserve a bottle of oust. And then I told her I didn't think it would affect anyone thus I didn't think it would be a big deal at all. And that its non carcinogenic so it wouldn't be hurting anyone. Nope she didn't care. And then she went on to talk about how she is a "febreze girl". (No I respectfully did not tell her of my opinion of febreze.)

    The Google Geeks

    So my scheme was unsuccesful.
No more need to give me "skcilca"(pig latin for that secret word which I can't say because the evil google geeks might see it and hunt me down and then who knows what. I might even take one of 'em geeks on.). That's my new name for them "The Evil Google Geeks". They certainly are evil. I was up to $48 and psh. Gone. Oh well, life goes on. Today was a very relaxed day. Nothing to drastic. Nothing to exciteful. Thus the reason for my short post.

Chiropractic Care. For Better, For Worse?

Many people are saying that Chiropractic care is an unsafe and unreliable health decision. I think otherwise. Yes, Chiropractic care may have it's downplays but in the long run it is the best form of western medicine we can give to our bodies. Chiropractor don't have a very big field to cover. They stick to what they know and do not exceed into others doctors business. Chiropractors for that reason are respected by Family health doctors. What do Chiropractors exactly do?

Chiropractors receive a general education on human physiology and biology, but their main focus is the spinal column. Chiropractors believe that the vertebrae of the spine and neck are routinely pulled out of alignment by everyday stressors, and these misalignments (called subluxations) can be the root cause of a myriad of physical and mental ailments. By physically manipulating individual vertebrae or readjusting the entire spine, chiropractors hope to relieve pressure caused by subluxations.

Critics of the Chiropractic profession point to all of this spinal manipulation as a potentially dangerous practice. Almost all joints will generate a satisfying 'pop' as gases in the cartilage are released. This doesn't mean the joint is more aligned than before the manipulation. Neck vertebrae are especially vulnerable to fractures leading to paralysis, so chiropractors constantly run the risk of causing serious injury for relatively few proven health benefits.

    My conclusion...

    Web Design In Central Florida

Web designers in Central Florida are charging way too much for simple web pages. They charge crazy amounts for such simple pages that a child could make in a week (if the child has DSL). If you just skip going to the local web designer and create the page yourself you could save thousands. All you need to create your own web design are very few. A good fast computer, a DSL internet connection, and a self explanatory book that you can get from the library.

Sounds pretty simple right? Then why do web designers charge so much for these simple pages? Because they can. The thought of having to do something new that they are not familiar with sounds way to burdensome for a lot of people. To everyone who's not too familiar with web design, "It's not that hard." Get yourself a book. Give yourself a solid afternoon. Save $ thousands.
